At Charleston Academy of Music, we strive to provide our students with a unique and comprehensive music experience. Our faculty consists of highly qualified professionals, many of whom are professionals in their fields. Our instructors are dedicated to providing the best possible education to our students, offering individualized instruction and a supportive environment.

We are proud to offer our students a wide variety of programs, including private lessons, group classes, ensembles, workshops, and performances. Our faculty works to create an atmosphere that encourages musical growth and exploration. We believe that music is an essential part of a well-rounded education and that our students are more successful in their lives when they have access to quality music instruction.

The Academic Program offers the highest quality instruction to students of all skill levels ages 4 years old and up. In addition to private lessons, students also have access to various group classes and performance opportunities at no additional cost.

Explore the exciting world of music through movement!
Eurhythmics is a more than a century-old music education method developed by a Swiss musician Dalcroze who believed that students can develop greater sensitivity to the rhythm and pitch of the music they played by experiencing it by whole body movements.

At Charleston Academy of Music, all students are offered numerous performance opportunities, letting them show their friends, family, and the public their achievements, as well as learn how to manage the performance environment!

Academy's Summer Music Fest is a program that runs every year and offers the following:

Fantastic experience without a doubt! My two-year-old son absolutely adores Mrs. Whitney's music-together program! He completed ten classes, and I can tell he gained a lot of knowledge. Just amazing! He has been waiting for the next class since the first one since Saturdays! It's a ton of fun for parents too! In July, we can't wait to carry on with this initiative!
