About Lynnwood Equestrian Center

At the Lynnwood Equestrian Center, families can enjoy a family-friendly experience in Fort Mill, S.C. The center is owned by Terilynn and Matt Storey, a local horse veterinarian. Conveniently located just two miles from 521 and seven miles from the Ballantyne area, the center is situated on 25 beautiful acres. The Lynnwood Equestrian Center features a 20 stall barn with 12x12 stalls and stall mats, as well as two tack rooms and a wash bay area with hot and cold water. For riding, there is a 220x140 arena with outdoor lights and multipurpose footing. Horses are turned out in small groups of 6-8 for their safety and comfort. Coming in Spring 2017, the center will also feature a covered arena. Families looking for a horse-friendly experience will find the Lynnwood Equestrian Center to be an ideal location. Whether you’re looking to board your horses, take riding lessons, or just enjoy a day with the family, the Lynnwood Equestrian Center offers a safe, family-friendly atmosphere. Summer Camp
Each summer we offer five weeks of summer camp; three weeks in June and two weeks in July. Hours are 9:00-1:30. Ages 6-12. We learn about horses from their feet up, and how to properly tack up and ride English and Western, with a bareback day, as well. We do crafts, games, paint a horse, trail ride, etc. Please go to our contact page and email for more info and registration form.

HUNTER/JUMPER PROGRAM
If you are interested in learning how to jump, whether just for fun or becoming a show jumper, please give us a call. We have a very qualified show jumping instructor with years of experience in the big world of jumping, who can get you there. Great lesson horses or bring your own horse. Scouting Program
Earn your Girl Scout or Brownie Patch/Badges at our barn all year long, rain or shine! Lynnwood Equestrian Center is officially approved by the Girl Scouts Hornets Nest Council in Charlotte, N.C., as the barn to earn your Patch/Badges at! We invite your troop to visit our barn to learn and experience the world of horses. We offer programs for both the Brownie and Girl Scout horse educational patch or badge. Book your troop’s event soon, as it is a very popular event!
