BeAKid
TINY TOTS TEAM
The Just Dance! tiny tots team is selected by invitation and has an average age of 4.5 years old. Tiny tots dancers must have danced at Charleston Dance Center for a minimum of one year before they can be invited to participate. The tiny tots team is a great introduction to competition dance because dancers only compete in one competition per year and there are just two required classes. This is a step above taking one class per week and participating in the Year End Performance. It is a natural transition between tiny tots and the mini mini team.

MINI MINI TEAM
The Just Dance! mini mini team is selected through audition and has an average age of 6 years old. Mini mini dancers are usually 5-7 years old, but a dancer’s age is just one factor that is considered for team placement. Height, ability, maturity, team composition and many other factors are also considered. The mini mini team is a great introduction to competition dance because dancers only compete in one competition dance per year and there are just three required classes. This exposes young dancers to dance competitions (travel, make-up, hair, etc.), so they can decide if that is something they enjoy, while also allowing time for other activities.

JUST DANCE! COMPANY
Our dancers, age 5 to 18, compete across the country at regional and national competitions and conventions. This is the highest level of training, performing, and competing offered at Charleston Dance Center. Company dancer requirements are specific to their level placement for the season. Requirements increase with the dancer’s age and ability levels.
