About Audubon Society of Rhode Island Summer Camp

At Audubon’s Summer Camp, your child can explore the great outdoors! From fields to forests, ponds to streams, and the coast of Narragansett Bay, campers get to discover the wonders of the environment in a safe, convenient location at the Bristol wildlife refuge. With so much to explore and learn, your little one is sure to have a summer full of adventure and fun! Audubon’s Summer Camp offers a unique opportunity for kids ages 2 ½ to 12 to experience nature and the outdoors. With a variety of habitats to explore, your child can learn all about our local environment while having plenty of fun! Located right at the Bristol wildlife refuge, the camp is the perfect setting for a summer full of exploration and discovery. Make this summer one to remember for your child at Audubon’s Summer Camp! EARLY BIRDS
Ages 2.5–4 • 9:00am–12:00pm Explore nature with your child or grandchild! Similar to our other pre-school programs, Audubon educators will guide you and your little one(s) through indoor activities and outdoor adventures. Circle time, nature stories, short walks, animal visitors, songs, and crafts will complement each day’s theme.

FINS & FISHES
Ages 5–6 • 9:00am–3:00pm Sharks are incredible predators. Pufferfish puff for protection. Flounders are the best at hiding and seeking. Tautogs lie around all day and male pipefish carry the eggs. So many fish, so much to discover! Explore the shore, visit the aquarium and dip nets in the pond to find fish, snails, and crabs. Hear stories and myths about sharks and other sea creatures. Create fishy art, play games, and have a good old FIN time!

Ages 5–7 • 9:00 am–3:00 pm Who lives under logs, leaves, and soil? Discover creatures who live beneath our feet. Look for insects, crustaceans, and salamanders in a variety of habitats. Discover how soil is made and make your mixtures. Games,
