Youth Courses
Courses for youth ages 6 to 8 provide a strong grounding in the visual arts and encourage creative and personal growth through self-expression. In the summer, in-person courses on RISD’s campus in Providence, RI create a dynamic environment where students build self-confidence along with a foundation of creative and technical skills.

Our courses provide a strong grounding in the visual arts, encouraging creative growth through self-expression. Students are taught by outstanding educators, and students get to expand their creative minds, build self-confidence and establish a foundation of technical skills. For youth ages 9 to 12, in-person courses are offered during the summer on RISD’s campus in Providence, RI, and full-day camps are hosted at Tillinghast Place in Barrington, RI.
