About Ed Cooley Basketball Camp in Providence, RI

Coach Ed Cooley is the 15th head coach at Providence College, and he is ready to help campers hone their basketball skills. During his five-year tenure at Fairfield University, Cooley developed a successful program and now brings that expertise to Providence. He and his staff will work with campers each day to help them improve their basketball skills and knowledge. Cooley is excited to have the opportunity to mentor campers and help them develop essential basketball skills. He understands the importance of teaching fundamentals and providing guidance to young athletes. With his staff, he will work with campers to help them become better players. At Providence College, Coach Cooley is looking forward to sharing his knowledge of the game with the campers. He believes that with proper instruction, campers can expand their basketball abilities and become successful on the court. With the help of his staff, campers will have the opportunity to grow in their understanding and abilities as basketball players.

Programs at Ed Cooley Basketball Camp in Providence, RI

BeAKid
FATHER / SON CAMP

Father/Son Overnight Camp is open to fathers and sons of all ages. Have fun playing basketball and learning fundamentals while spending quality time together. Fathers and sons will work together on basketball skills taught by Coach Cooley. Father’s will gain insight on how to work out with their son on the court or in the driveway. The father/son will spend quality time together bunking in the dorms, listening to Coach Cooley gives a prospective on how to use the game of basketball to strengthen the father/Son relationship. Each father/son will get a picture with Coach Cooley and a Nike t-shirt.

BeAKid
DAY CAMP

Ed Cooley Basketball Campers will be taught the skills and fundamentals from Coach Cooley, his staff, former Friars and other college basketball players from around the country. Each camper will play on a team with players of his own age and ability. Campers will work on skills such as ball handling, balance, defense, dribbling, rebounding, passing and shooting. Campers play 2-3 games per day.
