BeAKid
Summer Camp
CMW Summer Camp is an annual summer opportunity for CMW students, organized by former fellow and former staff member Rachel Panitch. Students travel outside of Providence, often with alumni students working as summer camp staff, for several days. Activities include youth development games, music-making, and performance.

Youth Program
CMW applies an innovative approach to arts education that highlights the relationship between music and social change. Our primary goals are to facilitate young people’s paths toward critical awareness of their lives and empower them to use music as a tool to imagine and achieve new possibilities for themselves.

Phase II
Phase II is CMW’s youth leadership program. A group of 20-30 teens participate in a weekly 2.5-hour program that fosters critical thinking and leadership skills, strengthens musicianship, and builds a close-knit peer group through chamber music rehearsals and performances, and discussions centered around important issues in their lives and their community.
