About Grand Master Hong's World Class Taekwondo Center

He is a 9th Dan black belt in taekwondo and has more than forty years of experience in adult and kids martial arts training. Additionally, he is an internationally certified referee and a Group A member of both the US Olympic Committee and Pan-American Games. Grand Master Hong’s annual Rhode Island Open tournament is one of the largest and most prestigious tournaments in the New England area. Not only does he provide a safe and positive environment for his students to compete, but he also has an excellent staff of certified referees to oversee each match. His tournament is also supported by a variety of sponsors, which has allowed him to award multiple scholarships to his students.
