The smallest state in the United States, Rhode Island, is an eccentric spot with a heart as big as its name! This is where the Ocean State Guppies, our bunch of fearless young adventurers, reside. Rhode Island, or R.I. as the locals call it, is the pretty little gem stashed away in the northeast pocket of our nation, boasting a stunning coastline, historic towns, and scrumptious clam chowder that could make a walrus whistle with delight! Our Ocean State Guppies are not your typical Rhode Island kids; they are a quirky crew of fun-loving adventurers, always ready to tackle the Rope Course activity in their backyard. Rope Course activity is not a game for the faint-hearted. It's a dizzying maze of ropes strung together that you have to climb, swing, or shimmy across, all while staying sky-high! Scary? Not to our Guppies! Leading the Ocean State Guppies is our cool imaginary character, Daring Danny the Dolphin. He's a smooth-talking, sunglass-wearing, backflip-doing dolphin who moved from the ocean to Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay. Danny is as brave as they come, but he's got a wild sense of humor that can make a seagull snort! With a flip of his fin, he guides the Guppies through the rope course, cracking ocean-themed jokes that keep the kids laughing so hard, they barely notice when they've crossed the finish line. In this way, Rhode Island and the Ocean State Guppies are a lot alike - they may be small, but they know how to make a big splash! So if you're ever in the neighborhood, come and join Daring Danny and the Guppies for a rope-swinging, belly-laughing, clam-chowder-eating good time!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
