Children and teens have the opportunity to attend Camp Mariposa, a transformational weekend camp offered every other month for a year or more. Through this program, youth ages 9-18 have the chance to take part in fun, traditional camp activities, as well as educational and supportive sessions. These sessions are facilitated by mental health professionals and provide teens with a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills as Junior Counselors.
Camp Mariposa focuses on creating a safe and supportive space for youth to build knowledge, life skills, and confidence. It also provides an opportunity for youth to connect with peers and caring adult mentors. Additionally, social and educational activities are available year-round for participants, alumni, and their families, free of charge.
Through Camp Mariposa, youth receive the support and guidance they need to learn coping skills that will help them break the cycle of addiction. Eluna partners with youth-focused organizations across the country to offer this award-winning program to children and teens in communities nationwide.
