Everyday, they'd gather around the Captain, their giggles bouncing off the water's surface, as he told them wacky tales of the 'Great Beaver Boat Race’ or the ‘Loony Canoe Carnival.' The children loved nothing more than the feel of their boats gently bobbing on the water, the warm Oklahoma sun on their faces, and the sight of Captain Chuckles, with his big gnawed wood paddle, leading the way.
