    Dance Etc., “The Fun Place to Learn,” is a dance and tumbling studio in Milford, Ohio, offering a variety of classes. Established in 1996, we have over 25 years experience. Our joy comes from watching children dance, tumble, learn, and grow in a safe, student-centered environment!

    PARENT-ASSISTED CLASSES FOR AGES 12 MONTHS - 3 YEARS

    At this young age, children are not ready to leave mom or dad for the entire class. Parents will be assisting their children as they have fun playing on the equipment and trying new skills. Tumble Tots class (formerly Parent Tot Tumbling) will have parents assisting their children as they learn stretching, basic motor skills, tumbling skills, etc. This assistance often builds confidence and self-esteem. Equipment such as balance beam, trampoline, parachute, etc. will be used. Tutu Tots class will have your little ballerina twirling, galloping, jumping and having a ball!! Parents can assist their little ones with understanding the classroom setting and keeping their attention on the teacher.

    DANCE & TUMBLING COMBINATION CLASSES - AGES 6 AND UNDER

    Ballet Bears 1 class is for ages 3 and 4. It consists of 30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of tumbling! Fun props are used, such as colorful scarves, hula hoops, etc. A new, fun "theme" is introduced every two weeks! Ballet Bears 2 is for students ages 4-5 who are in their second year of ballet. We will be teaching more advanced material in this class.

    BALLET

    Ballet is the "basis for all dance." In these classes, dancers learn technique, grace, strength and poise. Basic positions of the feet and arms, proper alignment, ballet vocabulary, barre exercises and center work will be taught and reviewed in depth. This class will break down the steps and provide students with exercises that build strength, increase flexibility and provide a foundation that can be applied to all dance styles.
