About ballet tech of ohio in Maineville, OH
Founded in 1993 by Claudia Rudolf Barrett, and located in northeast Cincinnati, our school provides students with the opportunity to develop performance skills and participate in activities that are essential to the growth of a professional dancer. We offer classes for students ages 2 years to adult. While we can agree that everyone can dance, not everyone can be a ballerina. Which is why at ballet tech® of ohio we offer classes in ballet, tap and modern dance. Taught by professional world renowned artists. We provide training for those who seek a professional career, as well as classes for those who just want to learn to dance.

BeAKid
Beginning Ballet
At BTO, we offer classes for students as young as 2 years-old. Our Musical Movement class brings toddlers' favorite rhythms and tunes together with activities that develop coordination and creative thinking. In Movement Discovery, kids ages 3-4 continue to develop listening skills while gaining more control of gross motor skills, rhythm, direction, and flexibility. For children 5-6 years-old, our Pre-Ballet class teaches basic ballet positions, cognitive skills, stretch, balance, and coordination. Our Beginning Homeschool Ballet is designed to fit the schedule and needs of homeschoolers. This introduction to basic ballet technique will be a welcome stress reliever from the academics of the day!

Intermediate Ballet
At BTO, our intermediate ballet options bridge the time between a beginning student and our pre-professional levels. Ballet 1, Ballet 2, and Ballet 3 classes gradually increase in complexity of technique, focus, coordination of arms and head, and demand for muscular control and stamina. These classes typically instruct students between the ages of 6 and 11 years-old. Our intermediate youth ballet recreational class, for students 8-12, involves only one class a week, and is geared towards those looking for a recreational experience, while improving their skill level in classical ballet. Similarly, our beginning/intermediate teen/adult class as well as our intermediate/advanced teen/adult class provides instruction for those not pursuing professional-level experience.
