The faculty are the heart and soul of Funk Lab. Each faculty member is fresh and still performing. The Funk Lab only hires the best dancers and teachers in the Dayton region. We are the cream of the crop in hip-hop. Programs at Funk Lab Dance Center in Kettering, OH
BeAKid
Hip Hop
Pre-Hip Hop, Hip Hop 1, Hip Hop 2, Hip Hop 3, Hip Hop 4, Boys Hip Hop and Teen Hip Hop Recreational classes that teach the fundamentals of bboying/bgirling, choreography, and popping with a traditional dance studio type appeal. Routine will be learned and performed.

Street Jazz
Street Jazz It’s a little bit hip-hop, a little bit jazz. Students will learn classical jazz technique combined with street moves to current radio hits. This is a great class to take in conjunction with a Hip Hop class.

Popping
Kids Popping, Teen Popping Popping classes are designed to teach rhythmic contraction of the dancer’s muscles and pantomimed movements. Popping can be concentrated to specific body parts such as arm pops, leg pops, chest pops and neck pops, which can vary in intensity. Routines and technique will be learned.
