About Beth Sholom Day Camp in Roslyn Heights, NY
At Beth Sholom Day Camp, located in Roslyn Heights, NY, your child can explore, grow and form lifelong friendships. Our program is designed to encourage children aged 3-14 to participate in a variety of activities, including daily swim sessions, athletics, and arts and crafts. With a start date of June 28th and an end date of August 22nd, camp will run for 8 weeks this summer- a minimum of 4 weeks is required. We recognize the importance of safety and nutrition for our campers, which is why we are proud to offer a hot Glatt Kosher lunch and an afternoon snack. Plus, our door to door bus transportation service provides parents with the peace of mind that their child is taken care of. BeAKid
JUNIOR CAMP (NURSERY & KINDERGARTEN)
This division is comprised of our 3 year olds, 4 year olds, and children going into Kindergarten. Junior Camp is based out of our newly constructed Early Childhood Center featuring a large playground designed specifically for their age group. The campers have access to several air-conditioned classrooms and spend time at our designated outdoor activity areas.We offer a full day and a mini day option for our nursery and pre-k campers. In both programs, the children participate in a variety of age appropriate activities. Our youngest campers are introduced to new experiences with a combination of instruction and intentional games.

Lower Camp (Grades 1-4)
This division is for our campers entering 1st through 4th grade. In Lower Camp, boys and girls are placed in separate groups that have a 5:1 camper to counselor ratio. Our campers participate in a range of activities led by our trained specialists. They develop their athletic skills on the field, express their personality at art or drama, and practice strokes in the pool. In addition to our dynamic program, groups go on several age appropriate field trips throughout the summer and take part in Special Events each week.

Upper Camp (Grades 5-8)
Upper Camp is made up of our 5th through 8th graders. Our girls in this division, known as the Tweens, participate in a program that combines traditional camp activities such as swimming and athletics, with an enhanced focus on the arts. Boys in this age group take part in our Sports Academy, experiencing a variety of camp activities with an emphasis on athletics. The curriculum for Upper Camp allows campers to engage in activities that they truly enjoy.

CITs
Our CIT program is open to boys and girls entering 9th and 10th grade. In addition to participating in traditional camp activities, CITs gain valuable experience working with children. Our CITs spend part of the day following a regular camp schedule, and the rest of their time working with a specific group at camp. Assisting counselors at activities and engaging with younger campers helps prepare them to be real leaders at camp. CITs acquire leadership skills, while still enjoying a fun camp experience. Our CIT program includes weekly field trips, a community service project, and two overnights.
