About Adirondack Woodcraft Camps

Woodcraft is an intimate summer camp experience that's the perfect balance of relaxation and fun. Families can rest assured knowing that our counselors are responsible and caring, and that their kids will have a chance to make new connections. Campers of all ages are brought together by exciting all camp activities like campfire, Woodcup, carnival, and family-style mealtimes. Our camp directors are also highly involved in the daily life of the camp, getting to know each camper and helping to foster a sense of community. Before long, campers and staff are part of a tight-knit family, with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Trip Program
Unique and special among summer camps, tripping is arguably the most popular aspect of the Adirondack Woodcraft Camps program. Campers learn to be a part of trip planning and execution with the guidance of experienced staff. Hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, fishing, rock climbing, rafting... Come to Woodcraft and the Adirondack Park is yours to explore!

OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP TRAINING DIVISION BOYS AND GIRLS 16 YEARS OLD
Our Outdoor Leadership Training Division, or OLTD, provides a valuable transition, preparing future counselors for greater responsibility and opportunities to serve as examples to their peers. These seven-week campers live in lean-tos in both Trail Camp and along Lake Ta-jec-na. As counselors-in-training, OLTD campers not only face greater challenges, they also reap the benefits of acquiring leadership skills that can translate to success in other areas of their lives.
