About Mount Tom Day Camp

Since 1955, families have trusted THE MOUNT TOM DIFFERENCE to create lasting memories and foster positive youth development. Each group is led by an experienced, professional educator who spends the entire camp day with your children. Campers have the opportunity to participate in over 50 developmentally appropriate activities, including sports, swimming, and arts and crafts. We strive to ensure all campers build positive relationships, take healthy risks, try new activities and increase self-esteem. Parents are welcomed to visit our amazing facility for an initial tour with one of our directors. Upon visiting, many parents are reminded of the true value of a great camp experience and the good feelings from their own childhood camp days. Early Childhood Program
Our youngest campers are embraced by the nurturing, caring environment Mount Tom has provided for generations. Parents of our 3 to 5 year old campers can choose between our full (9-4), mini (9-2) and half (8:30-12:30) day programs.

Leaders in Training
This specially designed program prepares our oldest campers, completing freshman year of high school, to begin the transition toward becoming staff members.

CHOICE Program
Campers ages 8 and up can participate in our CHOICE program. Each week campers are able to choose from a list of activities which allows them to have a say in their schedule and specialize in activities they’re passionate about.
