In the bustling state of New York, where skyscrapers kiss the clouds and people from all over the world come to fulfill their dreams, there's a special team of culinary superheroes known as the 'Kitchen Kiddos'. Led by their fearless (yet slightly clumsy) mascot, Chef Cheddar Chuckles, a large cheese who wears an oversized chef's hat and has a knack for telling the cheesiest jokes, these children are stirring up a storm in the world of cooking!

Chef Cheddar Chuckles and his Kitchen Kiddos are not your average New Yorkers. You see, instead of playing baseball in Central Park or skating in Times Square, these cool kiddos are busy whisking, chopping, and sautéing away in their incredible cloud kitchen, high above the city. They wield spatulas like swords, and their aprons are their superhero capes. They cook up a storm, creating delicious dishes that make even the grumpiest yellow cab drivers crack a smile.

From making Buffalo wings that make you feel like you've sprouted wings to bagels that make you want to hula-hoop, the Kitchen Kiddos and Chef Cheddar Chuckles are delighting New Yorkers with their culinary creations. Even though Chef Cheddar Chuckles sometimes trips over his own cheese wheel feet or accidentally sprinkles pepper instead of sugar on his famous New York cheesecake, his Kitchen Kiddos are always there to save the dish with a dash of laughter and a pinch of teamwork.

Each group is led by an experienced, professional educator who spends the entire camp day with your children. Campers have the opportunity to participate in over 50 developmentally appropriate activities, including sports, swimming, and arts and crafts. We strive to ensure all campers build positive relationships, take healthy risks, try new activities and increase self-esteem. Parents are welcomed to visit our amazing facility for an initial tour with one of our directors. Sky Lake is one of five camp and retreat centers owned and operated by the Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. This camp and retreat center is part of the Camp & Retreat Ministries. It is supervised by The Executive Director of Camp & Retreat Ministries and overseen by the Committee on Camp & Retreat Ministries. At Sky Lake, visitors are encouraged to grow in their relationship with God, be the body of Christ within the world, and live in accordance with the example of Jesus Christ. 

Sky Lake provides a unique and meaningful experience for visitors, providing them with engaging, equipping and empowering activities. Through these activities, visitors are encouraged to build relationships with their neighbors, especially those who have been disenfranchised by mainstream society. The camp and retreat center also strives to develop leadership within the laity and clergy that is diverse yet united by their love for Christ. 

Sky Lake is the perfect place for visitors who wish to deepen their connection with God and build meaningful relationships with their neighbors. With the help of the Camp & Retreat Ministries staff and volunteers, visitors will be able to engage in meaningful activities that will help them grow in their relationship with God, be the body of Christ within the world, and live in accordance with the example of Jesus Christ.

At Delaware County Camp, campers will have the opportunity to form strong bonds with their bunk mates and explore the great outdoors. From cooking and camping to exploring nature, campers will experience a variety of activities and programs designed to offer an enriching experience. In the evenings, campers will gather around the campfire and join in singing songs and enjoying special programs.

4-H Camp Shankitunk

Camp Hilltop has been a part of the Hancock, New York community since 1924. This beautiful camp is situated on 600 acres of woodlands and fields, with a private lake, in the picturesque Catskill Mountains, just two and a half hours from New York City. This summer camp offers a variety of activities, including water skiing, wakeboarding, trapeze, hiking, horses, climbing tower, high ropes, and many sports, performing arts and arts and crafts. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing and non-competitive environment, with a four to one camper to counselor ratio, overseen by a mature, skilled and caring staff. 

Camp Hilltop is more than just a summer camp; it’s a place where children and young adults can find a friendly and fun community and explore the wondrous possibilities in their lives. We are committed to creating a safe and nurturing experience for all of our campers, providing them with a summer of fun, friendship, and personal growth. Camp Nabby has been providing Westchester County families with summer fun since 1940. In 1970, the Bertino family, led by Frank and Flo, became the second owners of the then-called Nabby Day Camp. As an experienced educator and coach, Frank was eager to take on the challenge of creating a top-notch physical education program from the ground up.

Prior to coming to Camp Nabby, Frank and Flo had spent 44 years at Riverdale Country School in the Bronx, where Frank held a distinguished record as an administrator and teacher. His greatest accomplishments, however, were on the football field: in four decades of coaching, Frank led Riverdale teams to an impressive 17 undefeated seasons and 17 Ivy Preparatory School League championships, with a final record of 247‑47‑6.

Camp Nabby is a beloved Westchester summer day camp that has been creating lasting memories for families since 1940. Camp W offers a wide variety of activities for campers. Each group has a daily schedule for swimming, sports, arts and crafts, group games, nature, and special events. Camp W also offers a range of activities for campers to choose from, such as archery, tennis, fishing, music, and more. 

Camp W is a great place to make friends and create lasting memories. Campers can have a fun-filled summer at Camp W, while learning, growing and making memories. With a variety of activities, campers can develop new skills and make lifelong friends. From pre-K through 9th grade, Camp W has something for everyone.

Since 1989, Gate Hill has been a part of the Male family. Josh, Bob, and Jennifer, the camp directors emeritus, have been overseeing the daily operations of the camp and providing supervision to both staff and campers. However, the word “family” extends beyond the Male family, with campers, parents, and staff all part of the Gate Hill family. 

We want to ensure that our campers have a fulfilling experience, so we provide parents with updates on their child’s progress, friendships, and stories that make them smile. We are also available to answer any questions that parents may have to make sure their child has the best possible camp experience.
