About Camp Walden

At Camp Walden, we understand that summer should be the best time of the year! Our campers are able to explore a wide variety of activities, from athletics and arts, to aquatics and adventure. We know that having fun is the cornerstone of a summer experience, and we strive to make sure that each camper has an enjoyable and memorable time. At Camp Walden, we are located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of New York. Our camp is a co-ed overnight camp, and we offer something for everyone. From high-energy sports and creative arts to awesome aquatics and thrilling adventures, our campers will find something to enjoy during their stay. We are committed to providing an environment where your child can have the most fun possible, and we believe that having fun should be at the heart of every summer experience. At Camp Walden, we have a wide variety of activities for our campers to explore and enjoy. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive atmosphere, where your child can make lasting memories and create friendships that will last a lifetime. We are proud to offer a comprehensive range of activities, from athletics to arts, aquatics to adventure, so that your child can experience all the fun that summer has to offer.

CIT Program
Our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program is an extremely popular full-summer-only program for those who have completed 10th grade. CITs receive extensive training through participating in leadership development workshops. They also have opportunities to grow as they lead daily activities, evening programs, and special events. CITs have tons of fun enjoying their final summer living together as campers. Our CITs also love traveling on an awesome multi-day excursion to Boston.

Teen Program
We also have a two-week program for campers who have completed third grade and under, and who are attending for their first summer. Walden campers who have completed 9th grade can participate in the exciting Walden Teen Program
