Dancing Studio

      Since its inception in 1983, Ballet NJ Theater Company of New Jersey (BNJ) has provided children from the tri-state area with the opportunity  to develop as dancers and perform in professional quality full length ballets. In its thirty-one season, Ballet NJ stages its magical production of The Nutcracker, featuring over 100 cast members. Principal dancers from the Pennsylvania Ballet and guest artists provide an extraordinary experience for young dancers. The Ballet NJ repertoire includes such classics as The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and their critically acclaimed production of La Bayadere, as well as original productions of The Adventure of Dorothy, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella and Coppèlia.

      The productions at the Vorhees Schools Theatre have drawn thousands in critically acclaimed performances.  Many school age children have been introduced to the magic and music of ballet. Many have gone onto dance professionally after their experience with Ballet NJ.
