Each kid transforms into a unique Hockey Hero with their puck-slashing superpowers. You've got Flash Frazier, the speediest skater in the South who can blaze across the rink faster than a blink. There's also Whirlwind Wendy from the West, who can twirl with such speed that she creates a mini snow tornado, flustering her opponents. Down in the East, lives Roaring Reggie, a goalie with a roar so mighty it can make the puck divert its path. Then we have North-side Nancy, a strategic genius who can predict her opponents' moves before they even think of them, just like a wizard! Hockey in New Jersey isn't simply a game, oh no no! It's a whirlwind of laughter, camaraderie, and spectacular superhero moves that can only be found in the frosty arenas of this magical Garden State. While we cater to children ages 1-13 for neurotypical kids, we have no age limit when it comes to kids with special needs—because play should have no boundaries. At The Happy Hive, we believe every child deserves a space where they can feel safe, included, and free to be themselves.
The Jersey Shore Arena is proud to present the Learn to Skate USA Program. This inexpensive, recreational group lesson program is open to students from Pre-School through Adult. The Learn to Skate USA program is designed to develop skills that students need to move on to our advanced hockey and figure skating programs. We strive to provide our students with skills appropriate to their age level in a fun and safe environment! We offer a World, International and National level Senior coaching staff as well as an entire Learn to Skate USA staff of United States Figure Skating Learn To Skate USA registered coaches. Levels are determined by the United States Figure Skating Learn To Skate USA Program evaluation description. Please see program description for levels offered.
