About Pine Grove Day Camp

At Pine Grove, our mission is to create a unique and empowering environment for children ages 3-15. Our programs are tailored to each age group, designed to meet their physical and developmental needs. Every camper has the chance to develop skills in various activities, and gain life skills that will prepare them for success in the future. With an intentional approach to creating success opportunities, campers gain the confidence and independence to be well-rounded individuals.

Programs

Pinecones (Ages 3-5)
At Pine Grove, we offer a 5 full-day program as well as a 3 full-day program and 5 half-day program. Our Pinecone Division boasts the lowest camper to staff ratio in camp. Groups are typically between 10 and 12 campers with 3 to 4 staff members. Plus, each activity is run by one of our Pinecone Specialists who are hired and trained to specifically work with our 3, 4, and 5 year olds. The focus of the Pinecone Program is threefold: development of gross and fine motor skills through athletic and creative activities, learn to swim, and social development.

Voyagers (1st & 2nd Graders)
At Pine Grove, the program grows with the campers. As they age, our campers gain access to new activities and greater challenges, and our Voyagers are no exception! Similar to the Pinecone program, the Voyager program focuses on developing skills in a variety of athletic and creative activities, improving their swimming skills, and continuing to develop their social and emotional intelligence.

Juniors (3rd & 4th Graders)
Third and Fourth Grade is a great time to be in camp! Our Juniors are old enough to experience everything Pine Grove has to offer! As a Junior, our campers are introduced to Archery, Mountain Biking, Lacrosse, High Ropes, BMX, Skatepark, Camper vs. Wild (pioneering), and much more! Their schedule also contains a variety of athletic and creative activities as well as Instructional Swim and the Climbing Tower. Another privilege of being a Junior are Late Nights! For the Junior Late Night, we invite the Junior campers to stay late and have the run of the camp with a special dinner, extra swim, extra games, a special event and a twilight campfire complete with the Pine Grove S’more!
