Debra Nicolosi has been teaching dance for over three decades and was a former studio director and owner in Lincroft, New Jersey. She has instructed recreation classes and competitive teams in multiple dance styles, including tap, jazz, creative movement, lyrical, and modern. Debra earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College in 1991. She was part of the college's highly distinguished dance program, led by June Lewis, a former Martha Graham Dance Company member. Additionally, Debra was part of the Brooklyn Dance Theatre, which toured the tri-state area performing theatrical dance pieces and providing lecture demonstrations.
Debra also began choreographing modern theatrical dance pieces for the Gershwin Theatre. She was a seasoned dancer with June Lewis & Company and Joan Miller's Dance Players, performing in various tours. Debra Nicolosi is an experienced and accomplished teacher and choreographer, with an impressive 30 year history in the dance industry. She has a unique ability to capture her students’ attention and motivate them to be their best.
