About The Lenahan School of Irish Dance in Sparta, NJ

The Lenahan School of Irish Dance is a place where Irish heritage is celebrated and promoted. Founded in 2014 by Maggie Herzog Meyer, TCRG, the school encourages teamwork and builds confidence in its students. Beyond the traditional classes, Lenahan dancers have had the opportunity to participate in a variety of events throughout the year. From competitions and weddings to nursing homes, parades, restaurants, and cultural nights, the Lenahan School invites all dancers to take part in the festivities. At the Lenahan School of Irish Dance, students are encouraged to develop important skills and build life-long friendships. Founder Maggie Herzog Meyer, TCRG, established the school in 2014 to provide a safe and friendly learning environment. Through a variety of events, the Lenahan dancers have had the chance to showcase their talents in front of a wide audience. From competitions to parades, weddings to nursing homes, restaurants, and cultural nights, all students are welcome to take part and perform. The Lenahan School of Irish Dance is dedicated to teaching its students teamwork and building confidence. Since 2014, the school has been providing a space for students to come together and celebrate their Irish heritage. Through a variety of events, Lenahan dancers have had the privilege to perform in front of a variety of audiences. No matter the event, Lenahan dancers are welcome to take part and create lasting memories and friendships.

Tiny tots or Tir na Nog

Tiny tots or Tir na Nog: Dancers ages 3-4 learning the basic elements of Irish Dance (30 minute classes)

Beginner

A beginner is a student/competitor who has not taken a full year of Irish Dance lessons, thereby giving beginners a full year with such status. A Beginner must move into the Advanced Beginner category for the next year. (45 min classes)

Advanced Beginner

An Advanced Beginner who wins 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place will advance to the Novice category in that particular dance.
