Dancing is so much more than just grooving on the dance floor to your favorite tunes. In fact, you’ll be surprised how many benefits are associated with dancing. Not only does it train your brain and your body’s motor skills but it also is an excellent exercise for your entire body. As such, it helps you to stay physically and mentally fit. Even more so, dancing regularly can improve your general well-being, boost your self-esteem, and have also been shown to improve your social skills. Dance is not only a wonderful way to express yourself but also a fantastic spare time activity you can enjoy with your partner. Dancing will definitely boost your mood, helps you to forget everything around you, and allows you to bond with your partner. What is also so wonderful about dancing is that it helps you to relieve stress and to fully center yourself in the present moment.

Perhaps you’ve always had an interest in dance, but you’ve been too nervous to dance in public. One of the best ways to get into the art of dance is by signing up for private lessons. Doing so can help you discover your passion for dance, whether you want to practice socially or eventually perform for an audience.



 PRIVATE LESSONS

We have a variety of adult dance classes, such as drop-in or progressive in developmental 8-week series with each class building on the previous one. These courses provide the best learning opportunity for those seeking to improve their dancing consistently. In addition to teaching steps, we explain technical principles such as: posture, footwork, body/hip action, leading and following, musicality/timing, and many more. Upon completion of one level, students will have a chance to move on to the next level, where they will be challenged in new ways. Please check our calendar for the most up-to-date schedule.



Group Lessons

Want to compete at DanceSport competitions, but don’t have a partner? No problem. Pro-Am may be the perfect option for you.

Pro-Am is a category in DanceSport where an amateur student partner with a professional dancer, similar to what you see on “Dancing With The Stars.” In these events only the amateur is being judged, leaving the professional free to concentrate on helping you look and dance your best! There are various age classifications and level divisions available, allowing professionals to dance with all their students, and to ensure you compete against other dancers of similar skill. Every dance style is available, so you can choose the dances you want to compete in.
