The core curriculum for our kids program is to drive the principles of self-discipline, respect, teamwork, leadership, perseverance and a non-quit spirit. We use the format and mission of our Kyokushin Karate program to achieve this goal. A big aspect of the program is functional athletic training. This not only serves your child in their Martial Arts class but in all their sport programs. Our goal is to not only make your child physically strong but mentally as well. Many of our children excel and dominate in their school classes and sports programs because of the skill sets they develop from the class. We offer an award winning anti-bully and self- defense program for our children as well as providing a safe environment to nurture exceptional little fighters.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu today is a worldwide phenomenon. Rising out of obscurity in the early part of the 20th century it has become one of the most widely practiced martial arts. BJJ is recognized by its groundwork. Similar to wrestling and Judo, with its objective to control the opponent on the ground and ultimately submit him or her. Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program is a fantastic compliment to our stand-up Kyokushin Karate fight game. The benefits to the class are many. You will get in great shape, be fit and strong, manage your weight, and develop focus, confidence, persistence, and passion for a great style. Not to mention you will pick up a fantastic self-defense life skill on the ground. Incorporated in the program are Judo style throws and takedowns. This is a big part of the functional aspect of the curriculum.
