At Jamie's Dance Odyssey, we know that dance is not just about technique and performing, but about having fun. Founded in 2003 by owners Susan Walker and Jamie Down, JDO has come a long way since its start with just 40 kids practicing in a gym. After 17 years of dancing in Deptford, JDO has made the move to Washington Township, where we hope to continue to grow and help our dancers enjoy every week. Jamie Down has been teaching dance since she was just 15 years old and Susan Walker has been in the dance world along with her three daughters for over 25 years. With this experience, they've created a fun and inviting atmosphere at JDO that their students love. We believe that our dancers should have a great experience every time they come to class, and that's why we strive to cultivate a joyous environment. Since 2003, Jamie's Dance Odyssey has grown from 40 kids practicing in a gym to over 300 recreational and competitive students. Our experienced staff has made it a priority to help each dancer enjoy their experience with us. With our move to Washington Township, we hope to continue to foster a spirit of joy and excitement in our students. As we look to the future, we are confident that Jamie's Dance Odyssey will continue to be a place where our dancers can have fun and learn.
