BeAKid
Early Childhood Music and Movement (Mommy & Me)
Enjoyable classes where children, caregivers, and teachers share songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and movement activities in a non-specific skill or performance-based instruction. Infant and toddler classes provide caregivers with tools to understand the child’s music development regardless of their own musical abilities, to enrich their music environment in order to increase music potential, and gives the opportunity to meet other caregivers and share fun music activities in a joyful, safe environment.

Drawing/Art Lessons Beginner Drawing
Students will be introduced to some of the basic concepts in drawing while they create a simple still life from observation. The first series of projects will be created using drawing materials as students are introduced to formal elements like lines, negative/positive space, and value. The next series of projects will reinforce these concepts while students will learn “How to see” from direct still life observation. There will be an overview of the elements of composition, perspective, and drawing. Inspiration will be drawn from historical and contemporary artists, and from our own imaginations and surroundings! This class will help students to create the basic foundations of a drawing. Emphasis will be on developing drawing skills while gaining self-confidence.

Instrumental Private Lessons
We offer: Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Drums, Guitar, Ukulele, Vocal (Voice) Melody Institute’s private music lessons accommodate to each student as each instructor provides one-on-one classes that specifically focus on the student’s needs. We provide individual lessons in piano, violin, guitar, vocal, and more. All Melody Institute instruments are in mint condition, especially the pianos. Each instrument produces perfect-sounding pitches and tones. Our instructors are adamant about piquing the interest in music in each student and are constantly encouraging them to take on more challenging pieces as they move along.
