About The Performing Arts Project NJ in Verona, NJ
The Performing Arts Project New Jersey brings quality performing arts to the West Essex area. We are committed to reaching all kids in our community through the arts. We offer need-based scholarships and work study opportunities. In our group classes students collaborate and learn together, and from each other, in a supportive, kind, artistically rich environment. Private lessons are also available in Acting and Voice.

Programs at The Performing Arts Project NJ in Verona, NJ
BeAKid
Intro to Beginning Theater
This class is for our youngest dancers and singers who are 2-4 years of age. Parents are welcome to join their child in playing games, singing songs, and acting out stories. Drop off is also welcome.
BeAKid
Beginning Theater Trio (Dance/Acting/Singing)
This class is an hour for students ages 5-7. Students will learn theater technique and improv exercises, then do Ballet and Tap for 30 min, followed by Voice work for 20 min. Students will need to have their own tap and ballet shoes.Performance is once a year at an off site auditorium

Tap and Ballet Dance
This class is for students ages 3-6 to learn the basics of tap and ballet. Students will need to purchase their own tap and ballet shoes. Recital is once a year at an off site auditorium.
