Each level teaches skills that encourage basic coordination, balance and movement in a fun and entertaining atmosphere.
It is important that the level progression is followed and for skaters to demonstrate skills efficiently to staff before advancing. Instructors will evaluate students and give progress reports to skaters at the end of each season.

Learn to Skate Summer Camp
The Learn to Skate Summer Camp is one of the best ways for a beginner skater to learn the basic skills needed to succeed in recreational skating, hockey, and figure skating. All beginner skaters will learn how to fall down, stand up, skate forward, glide, skate backwards, stop, and much more! Skaters that participate in our learn to skate program that are between the levels of Snow Plow Sam 1 and Basic 2, will progress through the elements in their level. If skaters succeed in finishing all of the elements in their level, we will move them into a higher level in the Learn to Skate Program. Depending on their level, we may even be able to move them into the Figure Skating Camp or the Learn to Play/Hockey Camp! Off ice, children can look forward to spending time outside, playing games, making arts and crafts and much more!
