Private Lesson for Violin & Viola

All Ages. 30, 45, 60 minutes weekly lessons. The curriculum of JTSV has been developed to achieve proficiency in three diverse, yet related areas of instrumental playing: technical competence, musical comprehension and performance ability. The unique postural and technical development program provides tailored instruction for students ranging from elementary level where core skills are established to advanced levels where students achieve individual mastery at a competitive stage. JTSV’s teaching system integrates areas of broad musical studies such as harmony, ear training, keyboard skills and rhythmic studies to ensure balanced, cohesive and efficient growth. The goal of JTSV’s curriculum is not to produce carbon copies of players who are confined to a limited repertoire, but to nurture self-sufficient students who comprehend, plan and execute their own means of music.
