About Music Together Coastal Melodies in Oceanport, NJ
At Music Together Coastal Melodies, our mission is to make the world a better place one child at a time through the power of music. Our music classes are designed to bring babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the adults who love them together in a playful and interactive way. Our classes are filled with a variety of songs that are sure to get everyone tapping their toes and singing along. We offer our family-friendly program to residents of Hazlet, Marlboro, Rumson, Lincroft, Oceanport, Little Silver, Tinton Falls, Wall, Belmar, and Spring Lake, New Jersey. At Music Together Coastal Melodies, we strive to help children develop a lifelong love of music. Through our classes, kids gain the confidence to express themselves musically while also having fun with their loved ones. We believe that music can have a transformative effect on our lives and the lives of our children and we are proud to be a part of Music Together Worldwide’s mission to change the world through music.

BeAKid
Babies (under 9 months)
Babies love music. This will come as no surprise to you if you’ve ever soothed your newborn to sleep with a lullaby or bounced him to the beat of your favorite song. But did you know your son or daughter is also a natural music-maker? It’s true: We are each born equipped to respond to music from a remarkably early age. There is a lot you can do to nurture your new little musician—even if you don’t think of yourself as a “musical” person. Making Music Together® from the very beginning will lead to a lifetime of shared musical enjoyment for both you and your child.

Mixed-Ages( 0-5years)
Each week in Music Together® Mixed-Age Classes at Music Together, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them gather for 45 minutes of fun-filled family music time. Your teacher will lead you and the other families in music activities ranging from lullabies to full-on jam sessions (with child-friendly instruments, of course!). It’s so much fun you won’t realize how much learning is taking place!

Rhythm Kids (4-8years)
Kids know what they like. For four through nine year olds, it's telling silly stories, playing games (with rules, of course!), and sharing new things. Our interactive Rhythm Kids classes tap into how big kids are wired to learn. Music games, rhythm pattern play, drumming, and movement activities engage their creativity---and inspire them to explore their musicality in new ways, both during and outside class. (No promises, but you just might find your child making music instead of playing video games!)
