Our philosophy involves a non-violent approach to conflict resolution- to teach the importance of courtesy and respect towards others, to cultivate confidence and self-discipline, and a strong belief in oneself, to create an atmosphere where people in the community feel safe, happy, and cared for, and to teach basic martial arts skill. Our staff consists of highly trained, professional martial arts educators specializing in guiding students to attain desired goals and to reach their fullest potential. AMAA has a unique Blended Freestyle curriculum. To form well-rounded students, we offer skills from Tae Kwon Do and Shotokan for the art (or karate) part of our training. We believe that students should also be able to defend themselves both standing, or from the ground so we offer Korean Hapkido, Judo, and Jui-Jitsu basics for our self-defense, Kickboxing also makes up a significant portion of our curriculum.
