About OKKA - Mullica Hill
Martial Arts is accessible to every child. The study of martial arts, at any age, teaches core values and establishes positive life long patterns. We develop character and confidence; teach Focus, Discipline, Respect, and Martial Arts to students of all ages, ability, and interests.
We have structured our approach to focus on the whole student. At OKKA, physical fitness and martial arts skills are paired with programs for character and life skills development, and academic achievement.

Little Dragons
Our Little Dragons Program focuses on children ages 2.5 to 6 years old. The program is designed to teach basic karate skills while improving a child’s ability to focus, follow instruction, and engage confidently and constructively with their fellow students. Because each child is different, Mrs. Coakley’s background in education provides a unique mix of teaching techniques in small group and individual instruction settings.
Junior and Adult Karate
OKKA – Mullica Hill is a family focused martial arts program. We believe our students and parents should have the opportunity to train together as a family. Our curriculum focuses on mastery of kicks, combinations, kata, and self-defense elements. Our highly trained instructors focus on providing motivation to students to achieve their personal best.
Leadership – The Journey to Blackbelt
The OKKA Leadership program is an important step in the journey to Black Belt and beyond. It symbolizes a transition from a novice student to an intermediate level. Students who have demonstrated a commitment to earning their blackbelt are invited to join the Leadership Program upon earning their Orange Belt. An invitation to the Leadership Program represents a mutual commitment between student and instructor to the goal of Black Belt.
The OKKA Leadership Programs presents that next level of karate curriculum and introduces weapon katas and the application of the curriculum through structured, supervised sparring.
