We teach students grades 1-12 the fundamentals of sewing to help explore their creativity. Our instructors nurture and help build self esteem. From after school sewing classes in the classroom to fashion programs in local recreation centers and other locations, we love teaching kids to sew and how to design clothes they’re proud to wear. On Saturdays we offer sessions at our Home Studio in the Netherwood Heights Historic District of Plainfield, NJ. We are always busy with planning Fashion Summer Camps, NYC fashion field trips, Girl Scout Events & Service Projects & Fashion Birthday Parties. Our students [Fashion Designers] start with the sketch (croquis) and technical details, choose and render the fabric, learn the proper way to make a pattern, including measuring each other, and understand the importance of this process to the final FIT of the garment. They learn how to pin and how to use a sewing machine to create the entire garment, including the final fitting. Finally, on the last day of our fashion design sewing classes, we hold our very own Fashion Show.

Fashion First Workshops offers exceptional fashion camps, fashion birthday parties, sewing classes and fashion design for kids and teens ages 7-18. Students learn to sew and design clothes. Our programs run throughout the year, after school, on weekends and in summer camps at various locations in New Jersey. Extracurricular activities have never been more fun! All of our classes, camps and birthday parties end with a fashion show!

He has been a top realtor in the South Jersey area for over 10 years and has built many relationships within the community. Her entire life, Shannon has been involved in all things creative from Girl Scouts to her career as a hairstylist. She is always looking for the next thing to create. Pinspiration is a perfect match for what they think their community needs. Together Shannon and Paul are excited to bring their life experiences and build a foundation for a fun and creative atmosphere. Pinspiration will bring our community a makerspace to gather, learn, celebrate and inspire one another. Pinspiration is for everyone, even if you think you don’t like crafting. It is a place where you can spend time with friends and family and maybe discover you are good at something you never thought you would be good at.
