Toddler Classroom
The Toddler Classroom is an environment of carefully chosen materials that attracts toddlers to work and concentrate. Each activity addresses a particular theme, skill, or subject that is valuable to his/her development. Freedom and curiosity are encouraged within safe and supportive limits. It is in this program that the naturally curious toddler begins to build the foundations for a lifelong love of learning.
Primary Program
Children in our Primary Program experience a sense of community as they develop their independence, concentration, and a love for learning. They enjoy freedom of movement and the ability to choose their own purposeful activity in a classroom rich with Montessori materials. Our preschool classroom offers a calming atmosphere where children are treated with respect and dignity. Grace and courtesy are paramount in this environment as children flourish and continue to develop self-confidence and self-esteem. Preschoolers begin to choose more practical life exercises. Language and math continues to progress throughout the next three years. This progression is very individual with each child and is based on their personal readiness. Montessori materials provide a hands-on, multi-sensorial experience for children. The Montessori approach to education is considered to be one of the most effective educational techniques in the world. For over 100 years, it has been globally recognized for its remarkable results.
Kindergarten
Children in the Marlboro Montessori Kindergarten program experience a sense of community as they develop their independence, concentration, and love of learning. They enjoy freedom of movement and the ability to choose their own purposeful activity in a teacher guided classroom. Our students love to come to Kindergarten!
