The Madison Area YMCA is proud to offer a complete gymnastics program. All classes are held in the gymnastics center, a dedicated space which includes a spring floor, Tumble Trak, pits, vault, bars, beams and much more!

The staff at the YMCA follows the USAG/Xcel Gymnastics guidelines for teaching all levels of gymnasts, with safety and fun as our first priority. All Instructors coach children on all events, incorporating body awareness and control, flexibility, strengthening, conditioning, and safety knowledge into all lessons.

We offer Parent/Child, Preschool, School Age and Teen Gymnastics programs including: Gym Toddler, Time 2 Tumble, Jolly Jumper, Hot Shots, Kinder Gym, Rollers, Wheelers, Swingers, Kippers, Flyers, Twister, Rising Rosettes, and Boys gymnastics.



Are you looking for a class for your child that brings the fun of the playground indoors and promotes the fun of exercising in a non-competitive environment? Y Ninja Gym programs are just for you! Y Ninja Gym is open to all children ages 2-15, regardless of skill level. Our structured program for Y Ninja Gym training is based on obstacle course training methodology including strength and conditioning drills, specialty skill development (flips, rolls, jumps and kicks) tumbling and mindfulness/meditation practices. This program is specifically designed to build coordination, motor control, conditioning, proprioception, body awareness, spatial awareness, agility and physical strength. Our program develops self-confidence, teamwork and discipline in a FUN, educational and safe environment.



Y Ninja Gym

Ballet Beginner I (4-5yrs) (Prerequisite-Pre Ballet) This beginner level class focuses on grace, poise and the beautiful lines of classical ballet. Students will develop proper alignment, learn ballet terminology and build self-confidence while boosting concentration and developing an understanding of music and rhythm.

Excellent facility for family health and wellness. Safe and welcoming. Numerous enjoyable and healthful activities are offered. As a gymnastics judge during competition season, I go there every year. Their gymnastics program is fantastic, and everyone is extremely gracious! The athletes are excellent and incredibly pleasant, and the coaches are world-class.

Although the Y is not for everyone, everyone was welcome here. The new pool is wonderful. Group swim classes have always been a positive experience for us.
