Tiny Greenhouse is dedicated to providing children with the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of art in a safe, natural, and non-toxic way. Our art classes are designed to teach and build upon age-appropriate art making skills while nurturing creative and imaginative communication, thinking and promoting self-discovery and independence. We strive to create a positive and dynamic environment with a focus on inspiring and sparking the imaginations of kids. Where possible, we integrate recycled items into our classes in order to raise awareness of how art can be interconnected with their community and have an impact on the larger world. With Tiny Greenhouse, kids can explore art while also helping to preserve our planet's resources!
ART FUN is directed towards the development of children’s artistic, intellectual, and motor skills through the combination of art, education and play. We believe that each child should lead their own process of discovery and construct meaning about the world around them through their environment.
Tiny Greenhouse, therefore, strives to offer a stimulating, imaginative and engaging social space where children will come together and collaborate each week through language, play, art, and music at their individual pace and rhythm. Encouraging each child to express themselves with confidence and self-awareness, ART FUN will provide the tools to do so on both a verbal (group dialogue, story time, and narrative play) and nonverbal level (sensory and multimedia art projects). Bringing in elements of family and community, ART FUN will also emphasize relationship building, kindness, compassion, teamwork and responsibility as the children socialize in a fun and healthy learning environment each week.

Summer Camp
Nature walks, play and investigation (rain or shine) at our very own Historic VanVorst park every day of the week, in our Tiny Greenhouse Summer Session!
This year we are emphasizing the "Tiny" and the "Green" in Tiny Greenhouse. Among the weekly themed projects and plans, we will be working with nature, recycling objects and growing plants together every day in very small groups.
