The Hoboken Children’s Theater (HCT) is a leading provider of musical theater and acting classes and productions for children aged 3 through young adults. Founded in 2002 by Chase Leyner, HCT has been helping to develop the theatrical talents of young people in the tri-state area for over 15 years. Many of our former students have gone on to attend the top colleges in the country for performing and theatrical arts, including majors in musical theater, acting, stage management and costume design. Some of our graduates have even gone on to have successful careers on Broadway, in film, television, and voiceovers. At HCT, we strive to provide our students with the knowledge and skills they need in order to succeed in the performing arts, while also giving them the opportunity to perform in top-quality productions at our own theater in Hoboken, New Jersey. Our classes are designed to help students learn the fundamentals of musical theater and acting, and to foster their creativity and confidence.
