Summer Camp

Summer camp is a great opportunity for all dancers, regardless of level, to learn new dances, make new friends & stay active over the summer. Our summer camps are our way of bringing all of our dancers together to foster new relationships, challenge each, and create a community across all of levels. Mini Camp: 3 days, 9 AM - 2 PM. A great introduction to Irish Dance & a fun way for dancers to introduce their friends to Irish Dance. During this time frame the dancers play games, meet new friends, learn the basics of Irish Dancing (foot placement & fundamentals), and begin applying their technique to steps & ceili dancing (group dancing). Half Day Camp: 5 days, 9 AM - 1 PM. A great option for those dancers who are in their first year of Irish Dancing or not yet ready to begin hard shoe. They will continue learning their competition dances, begin learning ceili (group) dances & work on their technique. Full Day Camp: 5 days, 9 AM - 5 PM. A great option for those dancers who have graduated to hard shoe & are interested in competing at our Regional Competition (Provincials) this November. They will work on hard shoe basics, learn new competition dances, work on new ceili (group) dances & continue working on their technique in both soft shoe & hard shoes.
