Ballet & Pointe
Ballet class is one of the most challenging, yet most gratifying classes. A combination of Classical Ballet styles including Cecchetti, Vaganova and Russian methods as well as modern Ballet styles. Ballet is the foundation for all other dance forms such as jazz, lyrical, contemporary and even hip hop and tap. Ballet is also beneficial to gymnasts, ice skaters, martial artists and athletes as it teaches alignment, placement, balance and elegance. If you are a student of dance and looking for a great class, try ballet and give yourself a chance to experience the art of dance in its purest form. A Pointe placement audition/review must be done before accepting any students into Pointe class. The student must be at least 12 years of age. Pointe dancers must take at least two Ballet classes a week and be enrolled in the ballet class scheduled before their pointe class to provide for adequate warm up. Shoes will be recommended by the teacher and need to be inspected by the teacher prior to sewing on the accessories.
