    About Music University in Freehold, NJ

    At Music University, the experienced faculty provide private instruction in nearly every instrument and vocal style. Students can learn to play the guitar, bass, drums, piano, horns, woodwinds, and strings, with experienced teachers providing instruction tailored to the student's individual needs. The atmosphere at Music University is warm and inviting. The 12 private instruction rooms are comfortable and designed to make each student feel welcome. With modern equipment and experienced teachers, Music University offers a unique and personal learning experience for all types of music students.

    Programs at Music University in Freehold, NJ

    Piano

    With grand pianos in every studio, students learn from some of the most experienced teachers in New Jersey. The faculty represent a diverse background of styles, experiences, and education. Students will achieve a high level of note reading and chord playing skills, using musical styles that appeal to them. We have an extensive collection of "easy piano" selections for students to learn on, as well as a 25,000 song database to draw from.

    School of Guitar/Bass

    Students can learn guitar or bass using several different learning styles, including traditional notation, tablature, and ear training. Acoustic or electric studies are available, and smaller sized guitars are available for the younger students. As students advance, they are given the opportunity to try out for our Rock Band classes. Songwriting and music recording is also available for advancing students.

    School of Musical Theater

    Musical Theater is offered at various times of the year. Previous shows have included Charlie Brown, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and various musical reviews. There is also a Musical Theater Summer Camp as well that is offered in July
