About Ballet Arts

At Ballet Arts, we specialize in providing an inspiring environment for those passionate about dance. Our school began as a small ballet school and has since grown into a haven for all kinds of dancers, from 3 year olds to adults. We focus heavily on technique and stage production, while also helping students to build creativity, discipline, self-awareness, confidence, grace and fitness. We offer a variety of dance styles such as tap, modern, contemporary, hip hop, pilates and yoga. Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment where students of all ages and abilities can enjoy their studies in the performing arts and engage in various performance opportunities. Over the years, we have remained committed to providing high-quality ballet education and performances to residents of Bergen County.

Creative Movement (ages 3-4)
Children discover movement qualities and dynamics through imagination and music. Students learn basic class etiquette, learning to take turns and group participation.

Baby & Me Yoga (newborn - crawling)
This is a yoga class for mothers and their non-mobile babies (6 weeks – 1 year), which is both challenging and relaxing. It addresses postpartum conditions such as back strain, weak abdominal wall and pelvic floor, tight shoulders, sleeplessness and stress. It helps women regain strength, as well as adapt and grow in their new role as mother. It is an opportunity to nourish that profound bond with baby.

Hip Hop (ages 7-15)
This class is for the student who wants to learn hip hop but can't committ to the full year. It allows them to experience dance in a non-competitive atmosphere and reep all the benefits that hip hop dance has to offer: fitness, coordination,rhythm and fun!
