BeAKid
Song & Dance (Ages 2.5 - 4)
Song & Dance is an introduction to music and dance. The primary goal is to foster a love of rhythm and movement. The creative component is quite large. Several fun or special activities happen in each class. For example, Taking part in dancing out a narrative helps children to understand that movement is another form of expression. It is a means of communicating feelings and actions. The vocabulary covered in Song & Dance is comprised of steps, rhythms and melodies which a 2.5 - 4 year-olds can master— steps that help build self-confidence.The vocabulary is also set up to prepare students for any private music or group dance classes. Class length is 45 minutes and consists of 15 minutes of tap, 15 minutes of ballet and 15 minutes of tumbling for ages 2.5 - 4 once per week.

Pre-Tap & Ballet Dance Classes (Ages 5 - 8)
This level class expands on the concepts of the Song & Dance class. By the end of the year in Pre-Tap and Ballet, the students will be taught to dance/move set work independently of the teacher and they will memorize a few simple exercises and sequences. Class length is 1 hour, once per week. If you are completing Song & Dance this year and will be 4 ½ by October, register for Pre-Dance classes for September.

GUITAR LESSONS
Our guitar teachers teach rock, blues, metal, country and classical guitar lessons on electric and acoustic guitars. Beginner students can expect to work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading, and theory. We balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson you are challenged with a new technical or theory concept, but always end with something fun such as your favorite riff or song. We use a variety of guitar method books to accomplish this and encourage students to bring CDs or their iPod to their lesson to learn their favorite tunes. Our teachers can even help you with guitar repair: such as the set up of your guitar or replacing your strings!
