About Aloha Mind Math - South Edison
At ALOHA, we understand that children learn differently and that their brains have two hemispheres – the left and right – which carry out very different functions. The left hemisphere is the logical side, responsible for language, analysis, numeracy, theory and deduction, whilst the right hemisphere is the creative side and encourages perception, emotion, imagination and intuition.
Unfortunately, many children fail to integrate the two halves of their brain, which can have a negative impact on their academic progress. That’s why ALOHA has developed the Mental Math system, to help children bring the two sides of their brain together and make the most of their learning potential.

TINY THINKERS
ALOHA’s Tiny Thinkers is our flagship program for 3-5 year old children. Through hands-on activities and personalized guidance, your child will learn basic numbers, counting and measurement.
Our Pre-K teachers have been specifically trained to work with kids at this early stage of their development. With their guidance, your child will be introduced to the wonderful world of mathematics. All concepts are taught in fun and engaging ways – from books read aloud to songs and rhymes.
MIND MATH JUNIOR
ALOHA Mind Math Junior teaches basic arithmetic to 5-7 year-old children. The focus of the class is our innovative Abacus Methodology. Using this tool, your child will learn how to visualize numbers, so that they can quickly perform mental arithmetic that ordinary children can’t even do on paper.
The visualization facilitated by the abacus triggers the right hemisphere of your child’s brain. While often ignored in traditional teaching methods, it’s our right brains that supercharge our capacity to learn and perform calculations with both speed and accuracy.
MIND MATH SENIOR
ALOHA Mind Math Senior is the next step in mathematics proficiency. Designed specifically for how 7-12 year-old children learn, grow and process information, the focus of the class is our innovative Abacus Methodology.
Using this tool, your child will learn how to visualize numbers, allowing them to mentally perform complex arithmetic quickly and accurately. The abacus further integrates the right and left hemispheres of your child’s brain. By activating their entire brain, we’re able to harness the learning potential that lies dormant in traditional teaching methods.
