About Ballet Forte
Ballet Forté is a special pre-professional dance conservatory that seeks to develop each individual dancer. Established in 2003, it provides a nurturing environment for children aged 3-18 to grow and learn. We believe that proper instruction is essential for developing the strength and preventing injuries for these young dancers, as they launch into their future.
At Ballet Forté, we are dedicated to the holistic development of each dancer. Our approach to training is tailored to the individual needs of every student, from ages 3-18. We recognize that the body is the vehicle for expressing the artistry and potential of each dancer. Consequently, we prioritize providing the appropriate training necessary to help build strength and protect against injury.
Since 2003, Ballet Forté has created a supportive space for young dancers to grow and thrive. We understand that each dancer is unique and has a unique set of needs. Our team of experts is dedicated to providing personalized attention to each student, helping them to develop and reach their full potential. We strive to create a safe and encouraging atmosphere for our dancers to become the best version of themselves.
Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
Pre-Forté
This is a creative movement class for students 3 to 5 years old. Pre-Forte students are introduced to the basics of ballet technique.
Apprentice I, II & III Division
This is our introduction class for students 4 to 9 years old with some previous dance experience. Apprentice students learn about the fundamentals of ballet such as turn out, placement, and basic techniques.
Division IA
This is an introduction into our conservatory program for students interested in testing the waters, by studying a bit more intensely, but are not yet ready to participate in all that Div 1 entails. This is for dancers who have basic ballet training. Students build on basic techniques and begin learning more sophisticated methods. The focus is on developing strong alignment, learning terminology, proper use of rotation, and articulation in the feet.
