Stepping Forward Summer Camps are a great way for children and young adults ages 4 and up with mild to moderate learning, emotional and behavioral difficulties to have a fun summer. We offer a variety of activities, from horseback riding to sports to art therapy and therapeutic drama, so there's something to suit everyone's interests! Our ultimate goal of our Summer C.A.M.P is to help our clients learn important life skills. We strive to teach our clients mindfulness, attention to tasks, motor skills, teamwork, expression of emotion, cognitive skills, social interactions, and how to have a positive self-image. At Stepping Forward Summer Camps, we understand how important it is for our clients to have fun while learning these life skills. We offer a wide range of activities like horseback riding, sports, yoga, kickboxing, and art therapy, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. We also provide therapeutic drama to help our clients express their emotions and gain better communication skills.
