About The Madd Potters’ Studio

The Madd Potters' Studio is owned and operated by professional potters, Amanda Leipert and Julie Hickman. We have two locations in Cape May, New Jersey. Our specialty is local handmade pottery and unique artisan gifts from around the country. We teach workshops as well as offer a unique venue for special events at our Cape May Airport Complex location. Come visit us for that special gift or to schedule a memorable time with friends or family!

Kids Camp 1
Not just clay! Kids will love this multi-media camp led by studio owners Amanda and Julie as well as a few professional guest artists from around the county. We will explore a variety of techniques including hand building, wheel throwing, sgraffito, painting, and crafts. Ages 8-14. Space is limited.

Copper Etched Earrings
Learn to etch copper and brass utilizing batteries not acid! Participants will create two sets of earrings (one copper and one brass) in this exciting workshop led by guest artist Beverly Hiles. Students will be offered a variety of options to color enhance the background of their creations. $7.50 material fee. All tools included. Ages 15 and up.
