James M07/12/20225Phil is a fantastic teacher! I've been working with Phil for six months as a novice, and I adore it. I really value the systematic approach he uses when educating. Yes, we all want to start banging away and playing songs, but Phil restrains our enthusiasm by emphasizing the fundamentals as the base; with time and practice, these core skills make learning to play the drums more enjoyable. This, along with his enthusiasm for instruction, make a potent combination. Regards, Phil
Sandy T03/17/20225A few months after beginning lessons with Phil, my son is beginning to take an interest in the guitar. He has a calm, laid-back demeanor that, in my experience, makes my son feel at ease. He appears to do it effortlessly despite the fact that teaching, especially to children, is not an easy task. Thank you Phil, we're glad to have met you!
Dawn C05/16/20225A few months ago, my son began taking lessons from Phil, and he has been thoroughly enjoying them. Phil has a very pleasant, laid-back demeanor. You can see that he truly loves music, and he really engages and interests my son. He would make a fantastic instructor, in my opinion. I'm happy with the advancements my youngster has made.
Beth N01/11/20225Phil is a fantastic professor! He is well-mannered, competent, and quite knowledgable. He makes the classes enjoyable and moves at the pace you like. He jams on the bass at the conclusion of each lesson. Quite cool!
Steve D08/16/20225Phil is a fantastic instructor. To make the course relevant to my specific position, he takes the time to comprehend my objectives, skills, and weaknesses. His varied musical tastes are evident in the way the lessons are designed, both as a musician and as a listener. I went there hoping to improve my funk, but I left having learned more about Latin drumming. You'll learn a lot from his teachings and become a better musician as a result. My playing as well as my musical instincts both improved. I heartily endorse.
