With paintbrushes that twirl like magic wands, they create a riot of colors that could make a rainbow look pale! They can turn a boring, blank canvas into a sprawling jungle teeming with fluorescent flamingos, polka-dotted panthers, and turtles wearing top hats. Their favorite game is 'Guess the Goo,' where they close their eyes, dip their hands in paint, and guess the color by its feel. And let's not forget the epic paint fights that end with everyone looking like a walking, giggling abstract art masterpiece. Don't even ask about the time they tried to paint Captain Colorific's pet chameleon, Chroma - let's just say he ended up as the most colourful creature in all of New Jersey! Since 2014, Village Arts has offered high-quality Art Education programs for children of all ages. Classes consist of weekly evening group art lessons. Each seasonal session introduces a new theme for our projects, while always revisiting our fundamentals of drawing, painting, art history, and color theory. We offer Fall, Winter, & Spring sessions... enrollment is always open (no need to wait for a new session to start).
